Hey, I'm Giulia
Career: project manager. A parent. An expat living in Naples, Italy.
Several years ago I moved here with my family, and what began as a short-term assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Began
Moving to Italy wasn't part of the master plan. Like many international relocations, it started as a work opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, fresh expectations. Everyday tasks seemed more complicated than they'd anticipated.
The Adaptation Phase
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. Yet gradually, routines took shape. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and began building something that felt stable.
Why I Created Pivra Telom Asyr
Most online information was either corporate relocation guidance or superficial tourism content. What was missing was an honest, everyday family viewpoint.
This site exists to bridge that gap — practical advice drawn from real life in Italy.
